Marlene, RVT

Marlene attended Seneca College and graduated in 1986. She became a registered veterinary technician in 1990. She was part of the 1st group of RVTs in Ontario! She has worked in mixed animal practice, small animal practice and at the African Lion Safari. Marlene has two cats. She has also mastered the art of hand raising kittens. Marlene loves to read, do crafts and she is involved in various church ministries.

Kim, RVT

 Kim attended Ridgetown College, University of Guelph and obtained her Veterinary Technician dipolma. She enjoys working with birds and cats and she always enjoys a challenge and tackles them head on. Kim has been with West Brant since May of 2005 and brings with her a wealth of experience. She enjoys walking, biking and camping on her days off.  Furthermore, Kim spends time with her grandparents, loves gourmet restaurants and would like to own a horse one day.

Adrienne, RVT

Adrienne graduated with her veterinary technician diploma from Northern College in 2007. Adrienne joined the staff at West Brant in the spring of 2008 as our 4th technician. She owns Robbie the German Shepherd/Husky, and Hunter and Pantouffle the tabby cats. She has a keen interest in veterinary surgery and enjoys monitoring patients while they are under anesthesia. On her days off, Adrienne loves to read and go on walks. Interestingly, Adrienne also curls in the winter time!

Laura, RVT

Laura graduated with her veterinary technician diploma from Ridgetown College in 2008, and joined the staff at West Brant that summer!  Laura owns 4 cats; Larry (the garbage cat), Gretchen, Juice-Cat, and Divinity.  She also owns a 13 year old iguana named Lars.  When she's not working she enjoys cooking, rollerbladding, watching movies, and snowboarding.

Whitney, RVT

Whitney came to us as a co-op student in 2006 and liked it so much that she attended Ridgetown College to become a Veterinary Technician and came back to West Brant Animal Hospital to work as a Registered Veterinary Technician in June of 2010.

Brenda, Surgical Assistant 

Brenda joined West Brant Animal Hospital in April 2010.  She has experience working with animals at the Brant County SPCA as an Animal Control Officer and Animal Care Attendant, as well previous experiece with other veterinary clinics.  Her education includes a Diploma in Animal Sciences, Medical Assistant, and Law and Security.  Brenda's menagerie includes Angus Ryan the English Bulldog who is the love of her life, Sandy her German Shepherd, four cats; Mama Mayhem, Patrick, Sadie, and Marcy, and her Chinchilla Sketch.

Lynda, Receptionist

Lynda has over 15 years experience in veterinary reception. She also has her animal care certificate. Lynda is married with 3 daughters and 11 wonderful grandchildren! Lynda enjoys sewing, computers and spending time with her grandchildren.

Kathryn, Receptionist

Kathryn has over 5 years of experience in veterinary reception and and has a keen interest in animal behaviour. Kathryn and her husband own a Terrier cross named Cloe. Kathryn had her first child in October! On her days off, she enjoys swimming, rollerblading, biking, spending time with family and friends and watching her favorite television shows! Kathryn is currently on maternity leave with her first son!

Ginny, Receptionist

Ginny joined West Brant in the spring of 2008. She owns 3 horses and manages a horse stable in her time off work! Ginny spends most of her time at the stables with her four legged critters.Ginny has one daughter who is also involved in horse back riding and two sons who play rep baseball. On her days off, Ginny can be found working with and training horses, or spending time with her family at sporting events.

Sharon, Receptionist 

Sharon joined our team in August 2010.  She brings a wealth of experience from working at our local SPCA.  Sharon has two children, two wonderful grandchildren, her cat Alaska, and BenHenry her beloved Sheltie.  Her hobbies include home renovations, gardening, theatre and spending time with her family.
